Four pages, each built end to end. All four are sample sites — demonstration builds for businesses that don’t exist, made to show the standard rather than for a paying client. The process behind them is the real part: I work out what the page actually has to do, then design it and write the code myself.

    One book, one decision. A poetry collection has to make a stranger feel something before it can sell them anything, so the page leads with the title, the cover and a line in the poet’s own voice — and puts nothing between that and the buy button.
